Safety Coordinator – Southern Power Systems

SPS is seeking a Safety Coordinator to work from our home office in Baton Rouge. Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • 5 years minimum of Safety-related experience
  • 1 year minimum of industrial substation and utilities experience
  • NFPA 70E Training or work-related experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to implement BBSM program
  • Analyze workplaces and design initiatives to control, eliminate, and prevent injuries
  • Proficient skills in communication, collaboration, and problem solving/analysis
  • Maintain records as they relate to OSHA and SPS and client policies/standards
  • Professional safety certifications are preferred
