About the Role
SafetyPro Resources is seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to join our team in the greater Baton Rouge, LA area. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid position with flexibility for remote work. As a Safety Consultant, you’ll partner directly with clients to build, manage, and strengthen their occupational health and safety programs across a range of industries.
What You’ll Do
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients on day-to-day safety matters
• Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections
• Develop and deliver occupational health and safety training
• Write and refine safety policies and procedures
• Manage online qualification programs (ISNetworld, Avetta, and similar platforms)
• Oversee customer projects from start to finish
• Investigate incidents and support claims management
• Guide clients through regulatory compliance inspections (OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA, and others)
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field (preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as CHST, CSST, or COSS (recommended); GSP, ASP, or CSP (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or general industry
• Experience in commercial building construction — general and/or trade contracting (preferred)
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations
• Proven experience developing and presenting safety training
• Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, and other qualification programs (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Insurance Safety & Health Representative
Risk Management Services, LLC (RMS) is a Metairie, LA based Third-Party Administrator (TPA) seeking an entry to mid-level safety & health representative to conduct safety and loss prevention surveys related to workers’ compensation insurance, as well as develop and deliver safety training sessions for clients. Our client base in Louisiana is heavily weighted in the Long-term Care and New Car Automotive Dealerships Industries.
The qualified candidate should minimally have an Associate degree in a Safety/Health field (B.S. degree preferred). Safety designations (GSP, OSHT, ASP, etc.), certifications, and / or insurance experience are a plus. Position would require overnight travel throughout Louisiana (typically 4-7 days a month). Good verbal and written skills are required. Applicants must be proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint. Working Knowledge of MS Excel is an advantage.
The successful candidate would work out of the office in Metairie, Louisiana. Excellent benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401-K, etc.). Reliable vehicle/transportation required.
